| Description: | Ο απόστολος Παύλος εικονίζεται ημίσωμος, στραμμένος προς τα δεξιά να βαστά με το αριστερό χέρι ανοικτό ειλητό στο οποίο και γράφει με κάλαμο, που βαστά με το δεξί. Σε αντίθεση με την "Ερμηνεία" και τις συνήθεις εξεικονίσεις του, αποδίδεται όχι ως φαλακρός, αλλά με καστανά καλοχτενισμένα μαλλιά και γένι. Παριστάνεται αφηγηματικά, με χαμηλωμένα βλέφαρα και σκεπτικό ύφος. Το πλάσιμο του προσώπου ακολουθεί τεχνοτροπικά τα αναγεννησιακά πρότυπα. |
